My preferred AeroPress brew method.
Equipment: AeroPress, scale with timer, kettle, thermometer, small jug, coffee mug.
Coffee: 18g, medium grind, light/medium roast.
Water: 300g at 90°C.
Brew time: 1:30.
Set up inverted AeroPress with funnel on the scale, wet paper filter in cap, get water up to temp, measure and grind coffee and wet paper filter.
Add coffee to AeroPress, remove funnel rinse and put into a small jug, even out coffee bed and tare scale.
Start the timer and pour around 100g of water, stir and pour water up to 220g.
Screw-on lid at around 50s, invert on to the funnel.
Slowly press into the jug from around 1:00 to 1:30.
Pour 80g of water in to the jug.
Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!
