Equipment: AeroPress, scale with timer, grinder, kettle and a large mug.
Coffee: 16.5g, medium-fine grind, light/medium roast.
Water: 300g straight off the boil.
Total brew time: 3:00.
Measure out coffee and grind at a medium-fine setting.
Put a filter into the cap, secure cap, place AeroPress and mug on the scale.
Add coffee to AeroPress, even out coffee bed and tare scale.
Start timer and slowly pour 300g of water, straight off the boil, into AeroPress until around 0:30.
Set the plunger into the top of AeroPress, remove AeroPress and mug from scale and leave until 2:00.
Give AeroPress and mug a gentle swirl and leave until 2:30.
Slowly press into mug until around 3:00.
Remove AeroPress from mug and enjoy!
